Griffin's Friends Marathon Challenge

I am sure I said more than once that I'd never run another marathon!  Then a friend told me about the Griffin's Friends Marathon Challenge, so....I will be running the Holyoke Marathon in May as a part of Team Griffin's Friends.  

Griffin's Friends is a group of volunteers dedicated to providing support to children with cancer and their families.  Their mission is simple and appealing...to "bring moments of joy to courageous kids" This message conveys our aspiration for all our efforts, whether event planning, fundraising or marathon running.  We strive to ease the hardship of children in treatment for cancer and the families who love and support them.  For more information about Griffin's Friends, please visit www.griffinsfriends.com.  

Each year Griffin's Friends organizes training and logistical support for runners participating in the Marathon Challenge.  Funds raised by runners will go to suport the Griffin's Friends Cancer Fund at Baystate Medical Center.    Please consider supporting me and in turn these families who benefit from all the wonderful things that Griffin's Friends is able to do.
