"Darya has begun her final year in the Israeli Ministry of Tourism tour guide course.
While attending the full-time course last year, Darya sought every opportunity to work part-time to help make ends meet, baking late at night to sell her delicious baked treats, and providing English lessons and private tutoring to several students. This year, the tour guide course is more rigorous. Between the lectures, class tours, extensive reports, and studying for exams, working part-time is not feasible for this final stretch of the course.
Darya is doing extremely well in the course and so close to realizing her dream of becoming a certified tour guide! With graduation less than a year away, please help Darya stay the course!"
The Short family welcomed our family and many other American families to Israel. They befriended us, took us under their wings, showed us much of Israel, and made us feel welcome. We are eternally grateful and would appreciate any support our friends and family can provide.
