Pine Hollow Odyssey of the Mind World

We are raising money to send our Pine Hollow Middle School team to The Odyssey of the Mind World competition at Iowa State University May 28-31st to compete against thousands of teams from the U.S. and 25 other countries from around the world. Odyssey of the Mind is a program that promotes creative thinking and quick problem solving, along with teamwork and commitment.This once in a life time trip not only provides an opportunity to show their skills and dedication, but to interact with children from many different cultures and backgrounds. These seven girls have worked hundreds of hours to prepare for this once in a life time experience!  The time, effort and dedication these young ladies have put into this program was rewarded with a 2nd place trophy for the Odyssey of the Mind state competition in California.  Now they are off to Iowa to try their hand at a World competition! But, WE NEED YOUR HELP  to get them there. The cost for seven girls and chaperones all together is almost $14,000. We need you to let these girls know that as a community, we can all work together to encourage them and that their dreams of going to "World finals" can come true if we all do a small part.  Every little bit helps, so please pass this onto friends and family and anyone with an email address.   This guarantees to be a trip with memories to last a life time.
