Bring GUSTAV EDEN home!

Donation protected
Nearly ten years ago a Swede called Gustav Eden blindly moved to Fremantle and made it his home. In the few years he lived there he did more for the skate scene than anyone has ever acheived in a short window. He helped educate the masses about the cultural validity of Woolstores, he brainstormed skate jams that would show the need in Freo for a proper facility, he even worked for the City of Fremantle for a short while and helped instigate the vision and push for the Esplanade Youth Plaza. There is of course a vast list of others who saw it through and made it a reality. But most of them are able to come and attend the unveiling.

Due to the nature of borders and lack of permanency visas Gustav moved back to Sweden. Years later... this weekend infact will see the opening of the Esplanade Youth Plaza. Due to the cost of flying across the entire globe, Gustav is unable to attend the opening. But we, the skating community feel he should be there. This is your chance to make a good samaritan, pilar of the west coast and inspirational human very happy.

We only have till this Thursday 10th of April to raise the fare as the Esplanade Youth Plaza opens this Sunday! And again thanks to absolutely every one who made this possible.
