Help Paul get to COP21 in Paris!

My name is Paul Gorrie and I am a proud Kurnai/Gunai man from Victoria, Australia. As the Seed Indigenous Youth Climate Network  State Co-Coordinator for Victoria (http://www.seedmob.org.au) I have been selected to attend and represent our organisation over in Paris, France. In late November and early December tens of thousands of people will gather in Paris, France for COP21. This is one of the most critical moments in history as we as a globe will commit to new climate targets to lower emissions to stay below 2 degrees of warming. This is even more important for my people as First Nations peoples are hit first and worst by the impacts of climate change and fossil fuel extraction on our country.

 My role over there will be to develop the leadership and motivation of a young team of people, build partnerships and capacity in the international youth climate movement. As well as elevate the voices of the Global South and marginalised peoples in the climate debate, while also communicating back to our Australian audience from Paris to pressure the Australian government to aim higher on climate and much more.

Your generous donation will help me with travel, food, and accommodation for the two-three weeks while I am over there.
