Relief for Russell Griffith and Family

On the morning of Friday November 8th, Russell Griffith was involved in a serious car accident while driving to work. Russell's injuries were so severe and extensive, he needed to be extricated and air lifted to the ICU at Ft. Worth's Harris Methodist hospital. Praise God he survived, is under excellent care and no one else was involved in the accident.

Russell is a dedicated man both personally and professionally.  He is a devoted husband to his wife Nicole and father of two wonderful, adoring children, Kate and Ben. In his professional life, Russell is a highly respected Captain, Flight Instructor, and most recently, Check Airman for Spirit Airlines. While he loves to fly, his passion has been educating aviators across a wide spectrum of experience. Russell is highly regarded by his students and co-workers alike due to his obvious desire for their success.

Russell is also very charitable to his friends and family when they find themselves in times of need. With just one scroll through his Facebook page, you will find multiple occasions where Russell has donated to different families under various hardships. Our hope with this fund, set up by his Spirit family, is that we can return that favor to Russell and Nicole in their desperate time of need.

Unfortunately, Russell's road to recovery will be lengthy and painful. The medical expenses will be tremendous and Russell is not expected to return to work for a very long time. He will not be able to enjoy his weekly golf game or take his kids fishing on the lake.
