My name is Verónica Bermudez. I am originally from Venezuela, but I currently reside in the United States of America.
I am raising funds for my cousin who lives in Venezuela and is fighting breast cancer. Due to the current situation in the country, where there is no social security, our relatives must take care of the payments of all the treatments, which are very expensive.
3. The money collected will be used to pay for the drugs needed for the 4 cycles of chemotherapy that she must undergo, and the application of it. It will also be used for the radiotherapy that she has to go through after chemo, as well as all the consultation fees of the treating physicians. Attached, are the medical reports where it is specified the medications that she must take and the treatments that will be carried out.
4. Once the money has been collected, I will be transfering the funds to my cousin in Venezuela as she needs it to pay for her treatments. With that said, her chemo treatment start this week.

Breast cancer has increased its frequency to be the second most malignant tumor in women.In this case, it was my mom Patricia Quiaro, a strong, kind woman, always willing to help others and a warrior with her three children.
Like every daughter, I hope that it is my mother who accompanies me in the most important moments of my life, that she sees my brothers who are still minors grow up and that she meets her future grandchildren.
But in May of this year, she realized that he had something strange in her right breast . After certain medical studies (mammography, breast echo and biopsy through puncture), in July we were told that what she had felt was malignant, so the doctor indicated a partial mastectomy.
After the operation, the tumor was sent to study, resulting in poorly differentiated Infiltrating Ductal Carcinoma (G3) - RE, RP and Cerb-B2 Negative.
Her initial treatment will be chemotherapy of 4 cycles every 21 days (in conjunction with therapy to prevent nausea and keep the immune system stable) and subsequently, radiotherapy. In addition to this, it will require follow-up consultations with the cancer group that is treating it.
Due to the situation and crisis that is currently being experienced in our country, Venezuela, where drugs for this type of disease are very difficult to obtain and at a very high price, in addition to the cost of any medical procedure. Therefore, were asking for any help to be able to afford this treatment.

2. Estoy recaudando fondos para mi prima que se encuentra en Venezuela luchando contra el cáncer de mama. Debido a la situación actual del país, donde no hay seguridad social, nuestros familiares deben hacerse cargo del pago de todos los tratamientos, los cuales son muy costosos.
3. El dinero recaudado será utilizado para pagar los medicamentos necesarios para los 4 ciclos de quimioterapia, la aplicación de la quimioterapia, la radioterapia y las consultas con los médicos tratantes. A continuación adjunto los informes médicos donde se especifica los medicamentos que debe tomar y los ratamientos que se le irán realizando.
4. Una vez recaudado el dinero, se lo transferire a mi prima en Venezuela según lo vaya necesitando para pagar sus tratamientos. Que esta semana deberá comenzar el primer ciclo de quimioterapia.

El cáncer de mama ha aumentado su incidencia hasta colocarse como el segundo tumor maligno más frecuente en la mujer, en este caso, le tocó a mi mama Patricia Quiaro, una mujer fuerte, amable, siempre dispuesta a ayudar a los demás y guerrera con sus tres hijos.
Como toda hija, espero que sea mi mamá quien me acompañe en los momentos más importantes de mi vida, que vea crecer a mis hermanos que aún son menores de edad y que conozca a sus futuros nietos.
Pero en Mayo de este año, se percató que tenía algo extraño en su seno derecho. Tras ciertos estudios médicos (mamografía, eco mamario y biopsia a través de punción), en Julio nos dijeron que lo que se había sentido era maligno, por lo cual, el doctor le indicó una mastectomia parcial.
Posterior a la operación, se mandó a estudiar el tumor, dando como resultado Carcinoma Ductal Infiltrante poco diferenciado (G3) - RE, RP y Cerb-B2 Negativos.
Su tratamiento inicial será quimioterapia de 4 ciclos cada 21 días (en conjunto con terapia que evite nauseas y mantengan el sistema inmune estable) y posteriormente, radioterapia. Adicional a esto, requerirá consultas de seguimiento con el grupo oncológico que la está tratando.
Debido a la situación y crisis que se esta viviendo actualmente en nuestro país Venezuela, donde los medicamentos para este tipo de enfermedad son muy difíciles de conseguir y si se consiguen son a precios muy elevados, además de lo costoso de cualquier procedimiento médico, nos vemos en necesidad de pedir ayuda para poder costear el tratamiento.
Cualquier ayuda por más pequeña que sea cuenta! Muchas gracias de antemano por leer y por tener la intención de ayudar a mi mamá en esta etapa tan difícil que está viviendo.
