Hello Possible Donor,
We need your help! Dawgs for Diabetes is an organization at the University of Georgia. Our mission is to Help GA's Children Living with Diabetes, and to do that we need your help! We have three goals. One is to educate people and do advocacy in UGA/Athens. We also aim to be involved in the Athens and Diabetes community through mentoring and community service. We raise money for JDRF, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, and Camp Kudzu, GA's Camp for Children living with Diabetes. Most of the community we are involved in is the Type 1 Diabetes community.
Currently all the money we raise goes directly to Camp Kudzu and JDRF, but we need help running! Through this fundraising tool we plan on using at least 40% to help us run, and the other 60% to go to JDRF and Camp Kudzu. (all other fundraising efforts will be 50% to JDRF and 50% to Camp Kudzu) What do we need to help us run? We want to reach more students at UGA- this includes flyers, business cards, etc. We also want the Diabetes community to know we exist, extend our reach to Doctors' offices and other places in the community. We want to be a resource for people with or without Diabetes. We also want to kick off our mentoring program and we really need funds to be able to start that.

When you donate- feel free to state if you want your money to go to a certain aspect of our organization. We would also LOVE to hear how you are connected to Diabetes or why you decided to donate.
