WHAT IS "LOVE NOT HATE"?
The award winning Vermont-based band 8084 has created a two-hour, theater-based live multimedia musical show for the purpose of spreading a positive message of HOPE and LOVE in communities throughout Vermont, New Hampshire, New York, and Western Massachusetts. In addition to performing a show based on positivity and kindness, the band will work with area venues to identify a charitable cause from those regions and bring attention to that cause through raising donations and community awareness.

WHAT WE ARE RAISING MONEY FOR:
We are raising money to support our Love Not Hate tour. Along with other expenses we would like to purchase a 10k projector and large screen to use at our shows to promote our message and that of our sponsors & supporters, and help bring awareness to the non-profits and causes we support. Once we have completed the LNH shows we will donate the projector to one charity or non-profit.
Imagine … Hundreds of people anxiously waiting for the show to begin. People mingling, laughing, sharing stories with friends. For 20 minutes before the show, sponsor logos with company information show on the large multimedia screen, sharing the screen with positive imagery of people helping people. Suddenly the lights dim and a short video begins telling the story of the “Love Not Hate Project”.
For the next two hours the audience and the band become one, sharing a message of love and caring through music, positive messages, imagery, and stories. During the performance, the band mentions the local charity being supported, praises the sponsors that share the mission, and highlights the importance of the cause. A representative from the charity is invited on stage and speaks briefly about their cause and the important role the community makes in supporting that cause.
At the end of the night the audience leaves carrying a positive message, knowing they have supported their own community in a time of need.
