Provide a Better Yes!

Transform the fight against poverty
We are ready to roll! The Better Yes Network is now legally incorporated, and we have received our nonprofit status. But we need your help.

Your contribution will help launch a national network that connects effective nonprofits with one another and with donors to promote personal and community restoration, not just short-term relief.

Restore relationships to renew society
A number of innovative, visionary, civil society nonprofits address need by establishing trusting relationships, recognizing human dignity, and emphasizing work and contribution. They understand that, in the words of Robert Lupton, “We cannot serve others out of poverty, no matter how much we may want to.”

These builders define success as an individual's ability to provide for himself and make a meaningful contribution to his family and community. Their emphasis on long-term restoration, however, means they often operate in silos, below the radar, and with limited funds rather than taking government or other funds that could undermine their mission.

The Better Yes Network was founded by Joe Coletti and Michael Jahr, who together bring decades of experience in public policy, philanthropy, government, and communications. Their vision for the network is to help people and communities flourish through an effective social sector that focuses on relationships, responsibility, and restoration. Connecting independent, successful human service providers with one another --and with donors, policy advocates, and associations --will allow groups to grow, remove policy barriers, demonstrate success, and tell their stories.

Be a pioneer!
We know it's not enough to say "no" to traditional failed approaches to poverty. Your “yes” now will provide a better alternative for families and individuals in economic, spiritual, and personal distress.
