Dunbat Skatepark

$3,225 of $600 goal

Raised by 60 people in 60 months
The sun is shining, the temperature is rising and the snow is finally melting. After a long cold winter its that time of year again when everyones favorite neighbourhood skatepark starts coming together again. I think this year is our 11th anniversary and we are as broke as ever. Building the park each spring is a labour of love, but unfortunately love is not acceptable currency at the local  hardware store. To get things up and running were looking to raise  500 bucks in the next few weeks for wood, screws and some other essential building supplies. This year we need a bit of help getting everyone rolling again so return those empties, bust open that old piggy bank and cash grandmas birthday cheque so that you can donate the money to a good cause.
If you prefer to donate in person keep an eye out for me or Rob, we'll be at the park working away over the next couple of weeks and we'll gladly accept your money.
We'll also accept material donations, but ask first as we don't want to deal with peoples junk.
We're not asking for much, a fiver or a ten from a few hundred people will do the trick. But if you want to make a significant contribution we have plenty of secret prizes to give away for donations over 100$.
Donate today to help keep Dunbat awesome.
P.S. If this small fundraiser is succesful we will start drawing up plans for more obstacles in the future.
P.P.S.We will post all material receipt because at Dunbat we believe in financial transparency and accountabilitiy.

Miss Gracie was on the night crew last night making sure the granite install went smoothly. New ledge is now up so get out there and skate.
We would like to thank everyone for their generous donations. The fundraiser will be active until April 15th.

Just want to thank everyone for their donations and support. We're super stoked to see our fundraising goal tripled in less than 24 hours. We will continue to accept donations for the rest of the month because we will always need new materials to keep the park running smoothly.
I would also like to remind everyone that Dunbat is 100% funded through donations, 100% built with free labour and 100% free to skate and chill all the time.
For everyone itching to skate, the long ledge and manny pad are now out and other stuff will slowly start coming out throughout the month.
