Extensive dental work

Several years ago, after being struck in the face, I was informed I would need full dentures or implants. I was able to start the process, but then lost my job. Since then, I have only been able to find part time work - nothing that offers insurance or enough pay to set aside money to finish the dental work I need done. Now I'm in a lot of pain, and barely able to eat due to an ill-fitting upper denture and only five badly broken teeth on the bottom. I need to get my upper denture adjusted and/or implanted, and, even more importantly, I need my remaining teeth pulled and my lower denture created and fitted. It will cost approximately $2500 for the lower denture/teeth pulling, which is what I'm most concerned about at this point due to health concerns. The main health concern is that the infection that keeps recurring in my remaining lower teeth could spread, possibly endangering my life. My dentist has been wonderfully kind about getting me antibiotics to help keep the infection at bay, but it's just a temporary fix- the infection always comes back within a few months. I need to get this done as soon as possible.

I've explored every option available to me to in order to pay for the work that needs done to no avail. As a last resort, a friend suggested I try a Go Fund Me account. So here I am. I need to get this done not just to improve my health, but also my self-esteem. I also believe that having a more confident and healthy smile will help open doors of employment currently closed to me as people immediately judge me without knowing the full story of why my teeth look the way they do.
