Nepal Relief for The Small World

This summer I traveled to Nepal on a service trip with Students Shoulder-to-Shoulder (SStS), a not-for-profit that helps high school students become global citizens. While in Nepal, we worked with The Small World (TSW), another not-for-profit, that promotes women's empowerment and education to help girls and women escape sex trafficking and servitude. TSW also aims to help improve quality of life for all Nepali people. Their mission is to improve education, drinking water, health, transportation, and communication. 

Nepal is the 18th poorest country in the world, and over half of the population lives on less than $2/day. This extreme poverty results in exploitation as Nepal has the world's fifth highest human trafficking rate.

We are hoping to raise $5000 to contribute to this remarkable cause! All funds raised from this crowdsourcing will be donated directly to TSW to help them support as many people as possible in Nepal.
