Bio:
All born and raised in Buffalo, NY, four young men came together to grace the world with their voices to extend love to everyone. Under the moniker 4 B-LO, we've spent the last 2 years trying to build a name for ourselves. Now that we're known generally in the Buffalo area we'd like to take our talent across the globe.
Mission:
Our goal is to make a 6 song EP titled "Ready 4 Love". As you may or may not know, studio costs can be very expensive. This album needs to be industry standard and produced in a high quality studio. Which in the city of Buffalo has an hourly rate of $60-65 an hour. Also to get a high quality music video costs somewhere from $500-$1000.
The Struggle:
I know you may wonder how 4 young men can't build up the money to fund our career. Well the long answer is pretty complicated but I'll shorten it. For starters, two of us are full time students, one of us has a family he's responsible for, and the other spends much time working to help his family stay afloat.
It's difficult times but we strive to create beautiful classics that'll put Buffalo in the same sentences of Atlanta, Nashville, New York, and Chicago, as far as music.
Process:
The usage of the money will go exclusively to recording time, Mixing and mastering, production, marketing, 1-2 music videos, packaging, copyrights, and equipment, (i.e. 4 stage mics, ear monitors, and performance outfits).
Our Promise:
Helping us fund this EP will be the biggest thing that could ever happen to us and this city. It's in our name. We do this 4 B-LO; our city and the many families and amazing artists that just need a chance. Let us pave the way for the future generation of musicians coming out of our city. When we make it, our first objective is to give back to our community. Creating places for our youth to study the arts exclusively. Invest in businesses around the city as well as start up ideas. We'll be able to prove that Buffalo is a city of immense talent and also the city of good neighbors!
