Open Heart Surgery Recovery Fund

Hello. My name is James Caleb Long. I am 23 years and currently live in Jackson Mississippi with my mother.  I am going to be undergoing an operation in the near future. I have a congenital heart defect called an anomalous coronary artery. This will require me to have open heart surgery. It will be my second one. I already had open heart surgery when I was around the age of two years old for a different congenital heart defect known as an A.S.D or Aseptal Defect. In simple terms this means I was born with a hole in my heart. Ironically enough my name actually means "Whole heartedly" in Hebrew haha. But this surgery  I will be having is going to be a pretty serious operation considering I have scar tissue on my heart already from the first surgery. But I have decided to go ahead with it because this particular heart condition that i have can cause sudden death. In all honesty I am quite afraid and nervous about it. Though I am very much comforted knowing that my God and His son Jesus will be guiding the hands of the surgeon every single step of the way! One problem my mother and I are having is that I will be unable to work for a while during the recovery phase after the operation. I currently have a job at a gas station and she depends on me to help get the bills paid. She herself has battled cancer and by the grace of the good Lord completely defeated it! She has very recently attained a second clear result on her PET scan that she is given which indiciates whether or not there is any cancer inside of her body!! So while it has been a very rough passed few years for both of us, God has continued to bless us every single day. I know that this is just another period of trials and tribulations. We will emerge from this situation stronger and with a greater understanding of why we had to go through the things that we did.
