Funeral expenses for Joseph Swan

Donation protected
On August 31, 2018 We lost our father unexpectedly a few weeks after he had open heart surgery.  He had started to recover and was moved to a rehab on August 28 but things took a really quick turn a few days later.

Joseph Swan was an amazing man who escaped Hungary and came to America in 1957 after the Hungarian Revolution. His parents were killed during the escape and he was adopted by a family friend. He went on to marry Renee in 1965 and had 3 children. Later in life, Renee and Joe adopted their grandchildren Pierce and Anthony when they were just a couple years old. Unfortunately, Renee passed away tragically in a car accident in 1990 leaving Joseph to take care of the boys alone.  He was a very hard worker who loved the boys with every bit of his being.

Renee Swan was Joe's one true love, he never dated or remarried after her. His children would love to bury him with his wife at Royal Palm Memorial Gardens in West Palm Beach. At the time of his wife's unexpected passing only one plot was purchased.

The funeral home has been very helpful and come up with a solution to allow us to have their final resting places be together.  His cremated remains will be buried above the casket of his wife and funeral will be held and a new memorial will be created to include both of their names. The total of all of this is almost $5000.

Any help you can contribute, even just a little, to lessen the burden of the family will be greatly appreciated. This is a very difficult time and we very much appreciate your condolences and help.
