The MilePost13 Band Album Project
Release Date - October 25!
We are the MilePost13 Band, the music ministry of Nags Head Church in Nags Head, Outer Banks, NC, US.
In the late spring of 2014, we were presented with an incredible opportunity to work on a recording project. We decided to record three of our own original songs. A project like this is called an "EP (Extended Play)". Now, September of 2015, we are excited to announce that we have completed and ordered the first shipment of our album!
So, then, why are we raising funds through GoFundMe? One very big and important reason:
We want to give away as many copies of this album away as possible, especially to those who do not have a relationship with God and/or the Church. These songs belong to God, and we want Him to use this album to bless others.
The central message of this album is the free gift of grace and salvation through Jesus Christ. All three songs tell the story of the sacrifice that Christ made for us on the cross and the eternal relationship He offers to all. This is a message the church needs to continue singing because the world needs to hear!
Members of our band have personally helped to finance this project, so understand that we're not asking you to do something that we're not willing to do ourselves! And nobody in the band or our church will make a profit off of this album. All money donated will go directly to put free copies of this album into the hands of people in our community and around the world through our foreign missionaries.
If you choose donate, we will email you a link before the official release date on October 25 for a free download of our album. You will be one of the first to listen to and own this EP!
Our goal is to raise the $3000 by October 15, 2015! This will allow us to purchase nearly 1000 copies of this album to give away.
