David and Rachel Barker are currently at Cook’s Children’s Hospital in Fort Worth, Tx. Hunter Barker, 6 years old, has been fighting what we thought (after two doctor visits) was a viral thing. He actually has bacterial pneumonia and septic shock infection in his blood. He’s medically sedated right now. It’s hour by hour and that is incredibly hard to comprehend.
Words from his mom, Rachel,
“I BELIEVE IN THE POWER OF PRAYER. We are so thankful for those who are praying for him. As I stand here in our corner room of the hospital completely breaking down, I am also comforted by our amazing Lord.
He’s got this!”
We do not know how long Hunter will be in the hospital, and we need continued prayers please!! Rachel and David know it’ll be at least another week in ICU alone.
