Wheelchair Tennis Team

Wheelchair Tennis of Indiana offers tennis clinics and coaching to athletes from Indiana (and south Chicago). We have a competitive team that participates in Wheelchair Tennis tournaments all over the Midwest and beyond. Our clinics are for all ages and abilities from theraputic to recreational to tournament players.
As the volunteer coach, I am looking for funding to help my athletes defray expenses associated with traveling and participating in tournaments and equipment. A tennis-specific chair costs upwards of $2500 each. Tournament expenses include lodging, travel and entry fees.
In addition to raising funds through this site, we plan on hosting an "up/down" event in the Indianapolis area. Tennis is the only wheelchair sport that can be played on the same court, at the same time, as able-bodied tennis. Wheelchair players just get two bounces. An up/down event is doubles with one player in a chair and one standing, playing tennis just like everyone else.
Please consider a donation to help my athletes continue being active and playing a sport they love!
