Adrian Mahoney "number #73" sadly passed away suddenly on 26th September 2018.
As you all know he was a huge inspiration to many.
After suffering a life changing motocross accident 30 years ago he was left paralysed from the neck down at aged 20.
That didn't stop Adrian or change Adrian's positive attitude to life in any way. In fact nothing stopped him!!
He still had a huge passion for "motocross" and his love for the sport was unbelievable,even though it was the cause of his injury and disability.
He was humble and appreciative of life in so many ways and took it as it came.
His love for motocross took him to many race meetings in his later years in his BED! yes his BED LOL !!
"Have bed, will travel" was his famous saying. And that he did, dragging us all over the place ......
On the 7th September he went to his final race meeting at farleigh castle were he met his hero and legend Mr Ricky Johnson #2. after waiting 30 years to meet him i think Adrian was finally at racing peace.
His love for motocross was second to none and he by far the most dedicated fan i have ever known in regards to any sport. and most will agree. The other love of his life was his mum. An inspirational woman and the most dedicated mother to her son.
she cared and looked after Adrian since his accident,and those that knew Adrian and Adrian knows that was not a easy task !! LOL believe you me she had her work cut out....LOL!!
So i would like to gracefully ask for some help towards Adrian's funeral costs in order to assist Jackie out at this difficult time and try to ease just a little of the stress she finds herself in trying to cope with.She has not only lost her son she has lost her soul mate, her everything.
She will be a lost sole with out him. Any donations will be hugely appreciated and thanks in advance for your support.
