Recovery from Cancer Treatments

My nephew Kevin was diagnosed with Head/Neck Cancer on October 3, 2017.  He started treatments on October 27.  He had 33 radiation treatments and 3 strong chemo treatments.  As you all know, Kevin is stubborn and tried to work through his treatments and daily appointments.  As of November 16, 2017 it became too much for him.  He was not made aware, until well after, how rigorous the recovery treatment from this cancer is.  In March, he started experiencing issues with swallowing and hasn't been able to eat anything since that time.  He is still using his G tube for nutrition and is able to swallow sips of water.  Upcoming tests hopefully will shed some light to his team of doctors on what is going on;  as it has become a huge financial burden being out of work this long.  His wife, Renee has been working as many  hours as she can as a Pre-K teacher for the YMCA of Greater Syracuse, but as most of you know, two incomes are needed in these times. Kevin was put on short term disability, with his type of cancer but everyone knows that disability is a small fraction of what your normal income is.  Now that disability has been exhausted, he could use any help he can get.
