Seven from Heaven (Plus One!)
Eight lovely Labrador angels have joined Lake Erie Labrador Retriever Rescue, Inc. and now need help getting ready for their forever homes!
Over the coming days, we will introduce you to all of them (Beefy, Blossom, Casey, Chubbs, Flicker, Liz, Smiley and Wee-Wee.)
But right now, these ladies could use YOUR support for the vetting (exam, bloodwork, spay, etc.) This number of Labs coming in at the same time, on top of the Labs already in care getting ready for adoption, or awaiting forever homes, is a huge undertaking for our small rescue but we could not say no to a lady Lab and her friends in need!
No amount is too small and every penny is appreciated and will be used getting these Labra-angels ready for what comes next - a loving, forever home!

Funds will be used for some or all of the below - we’ll know more this week:
- Complete medical workup which includes general bloodwork and heartworm test
- Comprehensive parasite treatment
- Heartworm treatment if a dog tests positive
- Spay/neuter surgery
- Vaccinations
- Orthopedic surgery if needed
- Boarding fees
- Training if needed
- Food
- Nutritional supplements
- Preventative meds (heartworm, flea and tick control)
(Note: We ARE accepting applications for our other adoptable Labs but applications are NOT being accepted at this time for these angels.
Applications submitted for them will not be processed as these girls need to be vetted and we need to get to know them too, so that when the time is right, the best home can be found for them!
