2014 Sickle Cell Conferences

Hello and thanks so much for stopping by to check out my campaign.  My name is Jennifer Callwood and I am the Special Events Coordinator for Sickle Cell Warriors, Inc.  I am asking for donations to help make it possible to attend a couple of Sickle Cell conferences this year.  We are a relatively new organization that operates solely with volunteers.  Our goal is to make Sickle Cell a "household name."  My plan is to attend the Sickle Cell Disease Association National Advocacy Day in Silver Springs, MD and the Sickle Cell Disease Research Meeting in Miami, FL.  Your donations will get me to both conferences where I will be able to enlighten people on the plight of those of us who are living with sickle cell.  There are so many misconceptions about this illness and as a community we have been silent for way too long.  Please help me raise money so that I may be able to go stand up for evey member of the sickle cell community.  There are so many of us who live a dismal life because of the lack of resources for our illness.  I want to be able to show my fellow Sickle Cell Warriors that our struggle is not in vain.  No donation is too small.  Thank you in advance for your support, love, and prayers.  This is a tough road, but I am seeing light at the end of the tunnel.
