Sara's medical expenses.

Hello my name is Sara Condon and right before Christmas I had what I thought was a normal annual check up, with the possibility of removing my IUD. My husband Dustin and I wanted to start having a family. A few days later I got a call saying I had an abnormal pap smear and that I needed to schedule a colposcopy. I have had this done before in 2010 and the results came back fine, so I was not worried. I went in for the colposcopy where they biopsy a few spots that look inflamed on your cervix. My doctor said it didn't look cancerous but that I should have a leep procedure done. So we scheduled that. The leep procedure is when they remove the abnormal tissue by cutting it away. My doctor described it as shaving the cervix. It was not a pleasant experience. But I thought that was the end of it. That everything was over with and that we could start trying for a baby. I then got a call a week or so later saying that the samples they took during the leep came back cancerous. I was in shock. I have CANCER! I then met with my Oncologist and we discussed all of our options and decided on surgery. I go in March 3rd to have the cancer removed.

I hate asking for help but we have no other choice. I have missed so much work over the last 2 months with doctors appointments and will be out of work for at least 2-3 weeks healing if not longer. Even with insurance the medical bills are piling up and the stress of this very unexpected expense is starting to get to us. Anything is greatly appreciated, even if all you can do is send a prayer.
