Rally For Ryan

Donation protected
On January 19 2014, Ryan Gutierrez, 31, sustained a traumatic brain injury which he had to have major brain surgery to remove a blood clot. He was in ICU for 13 days and rehabilitation after he was released from the hospital. Ryan had to have physical, speech, and occupational therapy due to the traumatic injury.  He is home now with a long road to recovery continuing with his speech therapy and occupational therapy, but he is strong and determined to have the life back that he once had.
Ryan is one of the nicest persons that you could ever meet; he is very much involved with his family and friends. Making memories is something that Ryan does without hesitation.  He is very talented and creative. In 2007 Ryan followed his dreams of becoming a chef and went to Sheridan College in Wyoming for culinary arts and graduated in May of 2010. While he was in Sheridan he worked for the Powder Horn. In 2011 Ryan took his career to a new level and moved to Wisconsin and worked for the Horseshoe Bay Golf Club as a Sauté Chef for 3 summers during their season. He would come back to Wyoming on the off season to do catering and continue to master his skills.  At the time of the injury Ryan was starting to make a name for himself in his home town as a chef.
Because of the traumatic brain injury Ryan is currently unable to work and his hospital and therapy expenses are extreme. We are seeking any financial assistance to help him. If you are unable to donate please join all of his family and friends in thought, prayer and support for Ryan for a full recovery. We appreciate and are very thankful for your kindness.
There will be a benefit for Ryan Friday March 28, at the Powell WY Eagles Lodge where there will be dinner served, a silent auction, and a dart tournament.
**Please note that all funds go directly to an account set up in Ryan's name that is for medical expenses and lost wages. I am listed on this website only as the coordinator for the funds on this site. If you have questions you can go to the Rally For Ryan Facebook page.**
