Hi everyone my name is MeaChele and I am the older sister to Marie.
March 26, 2013 Marie came home from her liver transplant
Her story in a nutshell....
Marie is a beautiful young mother of two who tragically had acute liver failure in March of 2013. When our family received the news we were devastated and were left praying that she would be blessed with a liver transplant. March 19th God blessed my sister with a new liver. Marie was the 2000th liver transplant at the University of Michigan Hospital. After the transplant she had a new lease on life. She was able to be a mother again to her children. Her eyes were full of life and love and she began to recover immediately. However a few months after the transplant complications started to arise. Marie experienced some serious infections and then slight rejection. Since her transplant she has made visits to the hospital every month and has been admitted each time. Her current stay has lasted a month. The family has kept a constant vigil at her side as other family tends to her children. The medical costs are overwhelming. Everyday I get the mail it seems another bill arrives. All I am asking is a few dollars to try and help offset the ever increasing costs. If you are unable to help at this time more pray warriors are greatly appreciated. GOD BLESS!!!!
