My brother Seth, his wife Suzanne and their two children Colton and Tanner are displaced following the tornado that hit their subdivision on December 26, 2015. We are very grateful that they are safe, but as you can imagine they will have numerous expenses in the up coming months. They are an amazing family and very giving to their community and neighbors. Please consider helping.  If you are unable to give money, please keep them in your prayers.  Thank you.

Colton loves getting mail, especially checking the mail(3-4x a day). While this has been difficult for all of them , it has most difficult for him because he doesn't understand all the changes. Would you consider sending him a postcard or note once or recurring ? His birthday is in February if would like to send him a card. He lights up and it would mean a lot. Thank you for all you have done and continue to keep them in your prayers. PO Box 1857 Midlothian TX 76065

This is an update from Suzanne. As you can see the Sorenson Family is strong and extremely blessed. Thank you for all of your prayers and donations. Our family is ever so grateful......

It was two weeks today that our home was destroyed by a tornado. It literally has been a whirlwind of an experience. We had so many of our dear friends and family put in so much blood, sweat and tears to make this easier. The Lord has had his hand on this the whole time. Our insurance has been phenomenal! I am still working on the personal property piece; however, we have received checks for the home, cars, working on the bike and trailer still (due titles but not insurance hold up). We have a roof over our head fully furnished and leased on a month to month basis. Our kiddos are transitioning better than anticipated. They are resilient! My blood sugar has been decent now that I have a sliding scale provide my my endo vs the one I made up myself

The Sorenson's have officially relocated to another house. Still have to settle in, but happy to be together, safe and moving forward. The inspector condemned their home and things are getting rolling with the insurance companies. Rebuilding will take sometime, but we are so grateful for God's safety and provision. We thank all who have prayed, helped and/or contributed in some way. We continue to pray for those who lost loved ones and homes.

Today family and friends who are family came to help clean up and pack up as many belongings as we could. They will be temporarily be staying in a borrowed travel trailer parked in their driveway. Even though this is a difficult time for them, their neighbors, and many north Texans grateful hearts and positive attitudes abound. Please continue to pray for all affected by the recent storms.
