Odyssey of the Mind

Amphitheater District in Arizona - Copper Creek's Odyssey of the Mind team won 2nd place at State this last weekend and won the chance to attend the Worlds Competition in May. These girls have worked really hard as a team for three years.  We took 1st place in the Regional Competition this year. (2 years ago, we took 2nd place.)  Five out of six of them are in 5th grade and will  be leaving to go to Middle School. We are very excited to "go out" on a high note as a team by going to the World Championship. We are trying to raise money to help cover the costs for airfare for the students, coach and parents.  The competition is at the end of May and we only have 3 weeks to book the flights, mail our props and get ready. Most of us will also be missing the last two days of school to attend this, but we are excited and can't wait to go. This will be a life experience. OM is all about team building, creativity and solving problems. #OMWORLDS
