Peter Mathews Memorial Skate Garden

$4,486 of $10k goal

Raised by 80 people in 33 months
Khvt Saint Louis  SAINT LOUIS, MO
The Peter Mathews Memorial Skate Garden will be the first sanctioned free public skate park in the City of St. Louis EVER!!!

We are just weeks away from construction and we are still just under our funding goal!! The funds raised here will push us over our goal and make this park a reality for the community!!

Construction is scheduled to begin in March. In order to complete it we have estimated that we need approx. $5000 on top of what we have already raised!! If all goes as planned the park will be complete by early April!!!

We are also looking for material donations as well to alleviate some of the cost. We are looking for donations of re-bar, concrete, wood, gravel and whatever building materials we can get. If you or someone you know has materials for us please email us at kings.highway@yahoo.com

The park is located at 4415 Morganford Rd St. Louis No near Chippewa and Morganford. Peter Mathews was a local Skater who died in a car accident and his family and friends in the neighborhood held some fundraisers in his honor and donated the proceeds to the park.
