Qualify for Junior Wimbledon 2016

Tanysha started playing tennis at the age of 4 while living in Sri Lanka.   Her dream has always been to play at Wimbledon.  When she was 6 years old she came to England with her family and they have lived here ever since.  She was trained in the UK under Alan Jones who trained Jo Durie and Tim Henman. She was one of the top 3 for her age group and above. And also was instrumental in winning the National  County Team Cup in u:10’s, u:12’s and u:14’s. At the age of 10, she represented Surrey in the u:14’s County Cup and won the National Team Cup. Tanysha has also played in a few Tennis Europes  and has done exceptionally well (see her facebook page).  Tanysha who is now 13 years old, has been trained in Majorca  for the past 2 years under Jofre Porta who trained Carlos Moya and Rafael Nadal.  Her coach and mentor, Jofre is very impressed with her hard work and determation and thinks she shows great promise.

Over the next 9 months Tanysha needs to play in 6 or more tournaments in Europe so she can gain the points she needs to qualify for Junior Wimbledon.  We are raising money help pay for Tanysha's travel expenses around Europe - any small amount can help.  Tanysha's family live in New Malden, Surrey and she has links with New Malden Tennis Club.  With a longterm view, Tanysha really needs a sponsor so if you know of anyone do get in touch.
