Scott Akins Medical Fund #teamscott

Scott (Scotty) Akins is an extremely amazing, strong, active 17 year old young man. On Friday, September 22nd he was playing in his high school football game. At some point in the game he took a hit. This hit left him disoriented and he passed out. Scott was then taken to the emergency room in Texarkana where he had emergency surgery due to a severe brain bleed. Immediately after surgery he was airlifted to Children's in Little Rock. Scott remained in a medically induced coma for a week. Since they started reducing his sedation he started experiencing "storms ", he has developed pneumonia and has spiked fevers that at times have been hard to get under control. We are all praying and waiting for Scott to wake up.
We are overwhelmed by the prayers, love and support everyone has shown during this time. We are asking for help for his family as you can imagine the hospital bills and recovery are going to take their toll. Please share even if you can not give. Most importantly please keep Scott and his family in your prayers.
