Help Melissa With Dental Expenses

Melissa is a hard-working, kind, responsible, and all-around wonderful human and cat-mom. She's had a rough go of things, but has been able to stay on her feet, and take care of herself without help or support from others. However, as loads of you know first-hand, it is difficulty to find dental coverage with most insurance plans.

This girl has been saving up for a much needed root canal, but some other unexpected issues have cropped up. If anyone has a little extra, every little bit will help. Someone who works full-time, and is puts only good out into the world, shouldn't have to decide between taking care of one aspect of her life, and living with severe, constant pain every day. I know a lot of people can relate to this situation, and I promise to pay it forward when I can. I can't stress enough how awesome Melissa is, but maybe this picture can illustrate! The Melissa on the left is a happy, content Melissa. The Melissa on the right MIGHT actually be a possum... but is a pretty good representation of what she's like with severe, dental nerve pain: still adorable, but really fussy, and definitely not having a good time with what is going on.

The cost of the root canal is around $1,100. The cost of taking the day off of work, plus the extra expenses that have come up, is about $400.
