Angie’s Gift

In the summer of 2007, one week before her wedding, Angie Ferraro Fogal found out she had high blood pressure. In the beginning of 2009, Angie went in to get an ultrasound done on her gallbladder and realized that wasn’t the problem. The doctors told her that her kidneys were too small. They didn’t want to do a biopsy because it would have been too dangerous, so they did more tests and realized she was at 44% kidney function. As time went on, she was on medications to help protect her kidneys and control her blood pressure. Now her kidney function is at 14%. Unfortunately, the time has come and she is on a kidney transplant list or a live donor match. We are raising money to help her with the anti rejection medications, 1-2 months recovery, and any expenses that insurance won’t cover. She appreciates all donations.
