Pipers Broken Wing

Today I had one of the most terrifying experiences any bird mother can. As Zelda and Piper we’re out playing something spooked Piper and she flew to evade, clipped her wing on Zeldas cage and hit the wall. The thud of her hitting the wall then the floor will not soon leave my memory. Heartbroken I sit here at the vets, waiting as X-rays are being preformed to see how bad her broken wing is. Currently with the plan of action is xrays to see how bad the break is, splinting, pain meds etc we are being quoted $388 to $436. As well there will be weekly checkups and bandage changes for up to 6 weeks at approximately $75 a visit. Please if you can offer any help it would be appreciated.
