Izzy’s Surgery

Donation protected
This is Izzy, she’s a 10 month old Australian Shepherd we got just a month ago. She’s such an amazing and beautiful soul. She’s a fit for our family and we couldn’t have been happier to have found. Izzy unfortunately is facing some issues, with a perforation in her intestine she’s looking at surgery to save her life. This surgery is immediately needed and we aren’t giving up without a fight. There’s a lot of fluid in her stomach and she’s very uncomfortable. I love this girl with all my heart and she deserves a second chance at life. She’s the sweetest girl and my heart is absolutely broken. I have 500$ towards the surgery already but no one wants to take payments. As soon as my tax returns come in, I’m putting forth those as well. I’m not one to ask my community for financial assistance but my animals are my life. Anyone that knows me knows that I’m going to do everything it takes to save her. So any and all donations are SO appreciated. I’ve set the goal a little high just in case she needs something else. In case we hit our goal, and there are funds left over, I will donate the funds to our local shelter and rescue, A-PAL. Please anything anyone can do to help us is so appreciated. I want my Izzy back.

UPDATE!!!!!!

-Izzy update! She is at the AMAZING animal hospital in shingle springs. They are working with us the best they can. And they’re being incredible. I get a call at 10pm, and they’re IN THE MIDDLE of Izzy’s surgery!!!! He calls and says they’ve found a mass, and she has uterine cancer. This just got so much more expensive. She’s being spayed in hopes of taking out ALL reproductive organs. Keep Izzy in your thoughts and please please please share that go fund me page! We need all the help we can get! And her litter mates owners are being contacted to inform them so that they can go to the vet and get checked out! I love all of you so much!

UPDATE!!!!!!

Soooo here we are again. Another Izzy update. And not a very good one. Surgery is done, the vet called and here is the result. They drained multiple ounces of blood clots and bacteria and just nasty infected fluids from her and REALLY cleaned her out. But the doctor said he’s a little unhappy because there was a mass on one of her ovaries as well. He cut majority of the mass off, but there was some left that was so close to her blood vessels he couldn’t get it out without making her bleed. And thankfully she really didn’t bleed as much as he thought she would. But he’s sending the mass in to confirm it is cancer because if it’s infection, there needs to be more work done. We’re leaving her there over night, the bill keeps going up. But we’re joining her fight. He said, if she makes it past this, she’s going to live to 15. She’s a FIGHTER. Help me help fund her fight!
