Help Mozel Fight Wilm’s Tumor

Mozel Ruvalcaba is a regular 13 year old. She has always been a very active girl involved in numerous amounts of activities involving soccer, volleyball, and color/winter guard. She has a very loving family that is very supportive with each other considering that the oldest daughter has a condition called Cerebral Palsy which has disabled her from walking, talking, and doing normal daily life activities on her own. Things have taken a slight turn in her life, she was recently diagnosed with Wilm’s Tumor. This Tumor is commonly known for being a childhood cancer targeting the age group of 3 and 4. Mozel is considered a special case considering the fact that she was was born with this tumor, but only recently did it become threatening to her health. The tumor has drastically slowed down my very active sister to the point where she can no longer keep food down, or bare to walk for long periods of time or to the point where she sleeps for large portions of the day. While this type of tumor is known for being treatable with 93% survivors rate treatment however can still be very costly. Cancer is a life changing diagnosis that no one predicts and we most definitely were not prepared for the financial challenges that would follow with overcoming this hardship.
