71yo Robbed of Work Vehicle

Hi guys. Our 71yo working Father has been robbed of his livelihood this week. On Monday night, someone had broken in to his house and stole his scooter. The police were called but the scooter is nowhere to be found as of yet. If this wasn’t bad enough, last night dad caught 4 people trying to steal his work van. The thieves tried to run him over, they then ran into the fence of his house with the van, damaging the side of the vehicle, and took off. The police managed to catch the thieves but after the police spiked the tyres, they continued to try and drive the van which has caused a whole lot of damage.

Unfortunately dads Van was still under the name of my partner as he had just bought it for work and they had not yet changed the names over. The van was not insured and this is now causing a lot of grief as it will cost a lot to fix.

My dad has worked so hard all of his life and he has been the best possible Father/role model I have ever come across. He does not deserve this and now he is out of work until we can get his van fixed.

I don’t expect a lot, or really anything, but to be able to try and give back to my dad would be amazing and my whole family would be really grateful for any help right now.
