My first friend after moving across the country to Cali. I was just 10 years old following you around everywhere you went. Embarrassing you but you still let me. :) I used to always ask to borrow your clothes because I wanted to be just like you even though they didn’t fit and I looked like “E.T.” God, we went everywhere together. So much that moms odometer reset to zero.

Thank you for always picking me up and taking me to school, to play ball and having my back. Thank you for being my big brother when my other brothers couldn’t be around. You were my guardian and my best friend.

You became everyone’s big brother. The love that you had for our little brotha Kevin, Dynah, Brian, all your siblings and all your friends was unmatched. You were so selfless and made sure you provided them with everything we never had.

I don’t know how you did it. How you lived with that much pain for over 10 years. I would have given up after a month. But that’s how strong you are. We’re all missing you so much. Your laugh was so contagious. No one deserves to go through what you went through. We all felt so helpless yet you never asked for help. I’m just happy you’re no longer hurting and can finally rest.

You took care of mom and everyone else until your body finally gave out. You will forever be my hero for that.

All donations will go towards my brothers funeral arrangements and to help out his family, especially mom.
