UPDATE: 04/17/2018: WE HAVE SPONSORED A TOTAL OF 61 DOGS WITH THIS FUND, PAYING OUT THE TOTAL NOTED AS THE CURRENT GOAL: $16,495. Our heartworm dogs could really use a hand Friends.

UPDATE: 12/24/2017 We have sponsored 46 dogs in 2017. This fund is upside down by $5,871. We have PAID OUT the goal amount and we update it every time we sponsor another dog. PLEASE PITCH IN TO HELP US SPONSOR THESE DOGS - Many are adopted because of this program and would not get out alive otherwise!

UPDATE: 6/13/2017: 29 Dogs have been sponsored, and this fund is upside-down by over $4,000. The 'Goal' used here is HOW MUCH WE HAVE ALREADY SPENT!!, we update the goal every time we sponsor a new dog. Obviously, the donated amount is FAR from what we need to continue providing this sponsorship. Please pitch in, these dogs will not get adopted, and will be euthanized without this program!

UPDATE: 4-1-17: HEARTWORM HELP NEEDED ! 23 Dogs have received sponsorship through our HEARTWORM Program. Thanks to Broward Angels who pitch in to help these treatable dogs get adopted ! Please lend a hand. We increase the goal every time we add a dog to the program, yet the actual donations are falling way short.

UPDATE: 2-9-17: We've sponsored heartworm treatment for 14 dogs in the last 4 months thanks to your support of this program ! There are new heartworm positive dogs at our shelter all the time -- please pitch in to help us continue to provide this vital program. These dogs are ADOPTED, though they might not have otherwise found homes, with the help of this treatment sponsorship !

UPDATE: On an ongoing basis, we are offering heartworm treatment to adopters who need it. Over time, there are always HW+ dogs coming in to the shelter, so we have informed staff that we will continue to fundraise to help provide this treatment. Thank you Angels for pitching in when you see a HW+ post -- we need your help to be able to continue providing this funding!
