Haydon Bridge Flood Victims

Many people in the village of Haydon Bridge have had their lives turned upside down by Storm Desmond on the weekend beginning 4th of December 2015. A tragedy in itself, the episode is made even worse by it's timing so close to the festive period. The emergency services, council and good people of the village (and surrounding areas) have battled to help, save & salvage what they can for the victims. I have started this crowd funder so that anyone else wanting to help can do so from anywhere at anytime. The target is just a number, anything small or large will help. If you can assist, please do so.
All funds (minus the small fee automatically deducted by GoFundMe) will go to the Haydon Bridge Parish Council. There is also a community Christmas Lunch being organised for the villagers whom are unable to hold their own. The funds could almost certainly go toward that and the rest used to help repair or replace homes or items that the villagers require to have repaired or replaced.
