I'm sure you've seen mine and Armand's posts in regards to Scares That Care. If not, it is a convention that is set up to benefit three very worthy families that could use a helping hand as they deal with life altering events. The charity is set up to help women with breast cancer and sick or injured children. It does my heart good to see so many people pull together to help out these folks.  Armand went to the convention this last July and was so blown away by it that he pestered the hell out of me to agree to go to next years. When he realized I wasn't committing he went to my boss. Tracy (my wife) immediately agreed and we will be attending the event in Williamsburg Virginia, next July 22nd through 24th, 2016. Armand and I had an opportunity to interview Joe Ripple (one of the masterminds behind the entire project) this last week, show will be airing 9/2. Joe is so passionate about what he does I got swept up in the moment and I decided to do my own campaign to get these folks some much needed cash. I'm calling it Kilts That Kare. I promised Joe that if I could raise 500 bucks I would wear a kilt to the event one of the nights. Then I was like 'screw this' Armand got me involved to begin with, he needs to wear a kilt as well that's why we're shooting for a grand. Now on the flip side my wife wants absolutely nothing to do with me wearing a kilt and has pledged 499 dollars if I DON'T wear one! Guys help me man, help me win at least one thing in our entire marriage! I'm begging you! And I know I can rock a kilt!

Anything you donate will be SUPER appreciated but there's some perks for the bigger amounts. $10 dollars gets you a zombie repellant* wristband. $50 bucks gets you a free signed book from Armand and myself PLUS a signed Kilt picture once we get one. Please note that those overseas will receive either an ebook code or an audio code instead, shipping is just too damned expensive. You will STILL get the Kilt picture. For $75 you receive everything above plus some wristbands and sticker swag. At a hundred bucks you get all of the above plus an Arm N Toof Podcast T-Shirt.
Every last penny save like ten bucks will go directly to the scares that care charity, that other ten? Well I plan on drinking two shots of something real stiff before I walk the hell around in a bloody kilt.

Thank you guys! You rock!

So first off, just let me say THANK YOU to each and every contributor, you have no idea how effen awesome that is of you. The money raised here goes to such a worthy cause. I'll admit when I first thought of this I was petrified I was going to get like 73 cents and that would be from my sister who just felt bad for me. So that we hit our initial goal and so quickly just floors me, it's stuff like this that makes me feel like I keep sitting on my keys (or perhaps getting sand in my eyes - most of you will get that reference!) I know it looks like we're done, but we've just received some huge incentives to keep going. I've just been told that if we reach 1500 dollars that Joe Ripple, the brains behind the Scares That Care convention will also wear a kilt (to go a long with his bra - different story) AND if we reach 2000 that Brian Keene the horror legend will sit in on our podcast and at 2500 he will also wear a kilt. We are just about halfway there to our new goal and I honestly think my man-card is in danger of getting mangled up a bit, but in my defense this is a charity for sick women and children and I can think of nothing more worthy.
Joe & his bra! Looking for some dollars!

Umm holy shit, this stuff just blows me away. We are heading to day 2 and we are almost at 3/4 of our goal amount. I guess I'd better go Kilt shopping. I cannot thank you guys enough for giving to this very worthy cause!
