Get Michael’s dogs home from Dubai

My big brother Michael has been wrongfully detained in Dubai for over two months, just days after celebrating his 37th birthday. Unable to earn money while being detained prevented Michael from keeping on top of his financial obligations. All Michael’s  friends & family tried to raise as much of their personal money as they could to pay his rent & bills up until this point.  His good friends Jonny, Nikki & Zoe amongst others are looking  after his 4 fur babies (Boru,  Lucy, Jessie & Freddie) plus both our sister & mother traveled to Dubai for a month to try to look after the dogs & visit Michael once a week,  but despite everyone’s best efforts the situation is no longer sustainable.

We had hoped he would be home with us for Christmas but that is now very unlikely. We hope he will be released in the next couple of months so until then we are trying to get his dogs loving foster homes but it’s proving difficult and they will be without a home very soon. The only other immediate option is to pay for boarding kennels which are expensive for 4 large dogs or try to get them back here to Ireland to his family here. 

I know it is a big ask but if you know Michael you know how much his dogs mean to him. If it were me, my biggest worry would be that my fur babies were looked after until I could get home to them. If you can help out at all please do so we can keep them happy & safe until my brother can be reunited with them home in Ireland x

€5000 will cover a good chunk of the required costs of micro chipping, vaccinations (rabies), tapeworm treatment and of course the actual transport of the dogs from Dubai to Ireland!
