Send Madison Chisholm to NAYC 2019

Send me on my dream journey to the NAYC (North American Youth Championships) also known as the “Junior Olympics”. I am Madison Chisholm and my horse is Beechcraft, aka Baron. We have been chosen to compete on the Area II NAYC team at the beautiful Rebecca Farm in Montana this year. I am 15 years old and Baron is a 10 year old OTTB (off the track thoroughbred). He was restarted and trained up to the preliminary level when I got him, November 2017. At this time, I had only competed through the novice level, but was ready to step up to training level with a horse that could take me even farther. Baron has been the best gift I have ever received. He has taught me so much and taken me such a long way in a very short amount of time. Crazy to think in less than a years time, we went from competing at novice to successfully cruising around preliminary. He is such an amazing horse and he always gives everything he has plus more. He has been the best teacher and we both continue to learn everyday. I qualified for the team at the CCI**-L at Virginia Horse Center. I train with Aaron Stuckey Hill who has produced many successful young riders that have successfully competed at NAYC. I also train with Kurt Martin, whom actively competes at the now CCI***** level. Baron and I need a minimum of $10,000 to travel across the country to the Rebecca Farm. It is an experience of a lifetime to be a part of the Area II NAYC Team.
