Help me keep my joints together and stay medicated

Hi. I'm Sara, and I've got a genetic condition called Hypermobile Ehler's Danlos Syndrome (hEDS), which affects my collagen. Collagen is a type of tissue that holds your joints together, and is ~25-35% of your body's protein. It's supposed to work like a rubber band, where it can stretch, but still go back into place. My collagen, however, works a lot more like taffy. It just stretches and stretches and gets looser and looser. Because of this, I now suffer from regular partial and full dislocations of my shoulders, elbows, fingers, hips, and knees, with the number of daily dislocations of my fingers and shoulders numbering in the tens. To combat this, I need to buy a LOT of braces. Ones for my fingers and hands (some of which are shown in the picture; see update 2 for more details), my elbows, and my shoulders. I've also got a lot of doctor's visits that I really need help paying for.

I also am nonbinary, and need regular doctor's visits for my hormone treatment. On top of that, the cost of getting a legal name change is a lot higher than I can reasonably afford.

On top of that, I've got a LOT of mental health issues, and the psych/therapy visits for that on top of the costs for medication is cutting into my budget more than literally anything else in my life. I seriously spend more per month on meds than I do on food, and that's with insurance.

Any money I raise will be spent in this order:
- Braces
- Doctor's visits/meds for hEDS
- Doctor's visits for gender transition
- Doctor's visits/meds for mental health
- General gender costs (name change, etc.)

The $7,000 goal was figured by adding up the mid-range prices for the braces I'd need, the average prices that doctor's visits have been in the past, and the estimated price for what I'll need for meds and emergency health costs going forward.
