Birthday wish...give to a animal shelter

To all animal lovers,


My name is Andrea Catalina and I am 8 years of age. My mom asked me what I wanted to do for my 9th. birthday on February 25th 2014. My response to her was I wanted to donate money to charity. Between both, we decided we would donate our time and money to a local cat shelter in the Old San Juan, Puerto Rico area. Because my mother grew up in Old San Juan, and I adore cats, this shelter made sense to us. The shelter is a catch, spay/neuter and release shelter that adopts out the adoptable cats. The cats that are not adoptable, are released back into the wild (city life) and live healthy long lives without reproducing. They are taken care of, if needed. The money that you donate today is put to their spay/neuter program, vet bills, food (lot's of food), medicine, new cages, cleaning supplies, office supplies etc. Every little bit counts for these beautiful animals that wish to live a safe and healthy life.
