Help me go to JR Nationals and Europe

My name is Mackenzie and I am a U16 cross country ski racer! I have qualified to go to JR Nationals in Stowe Vermont this year and am currently ranked 2nd in the New England region. I also have the opportunity to travel to Europe to compete in international racing in Switzerland and France in March. I qualified for JR Nationals last year in Fairbanks, AK and had terrific results as a first year U16 with best finishes of 22nd in the Skate 5K and 24th in the Classic 5K.

I have been nordic skiing since I could walk and started racing in 1st grade and have been hooked ever since. When I turned 10 I started training off season with a development training group and have been training year round ever since. I am very lucky to live in an area with access to great training, coaching and other resources, I even get to train along side four skiers who are currently representing the US at the winter Olympics in Sochi!

Travel and training is expensive and I am the oldest of four children being raised by a single mom so any donation will help get me to these great events and experiences. The JR Nationals trip cost this year is $1675.00 for the 10 day trip and the 12 day European Racing Trip is going to be approximately $3000.00.
