Tablets for Kids With Cancer

Hi,
My name is Mike and I'm a cancer survivor. I was diagnosed with Malignant Melanoma originally back in 2005 and have been fighting recurrences ever since. However, this story is not about me. It's about something I would like to do for others.
On a recent visit to my doctor, I ran into a mother with her daughter who was there for treatment. I was playing a game on my phone to pass the time and noticed the girl was very interested, so I offered to let her play. It ended up keeping her happily occupied for her entire wait. Her mother commented that they should have stuff like that for kids to do. They spend so much time sitting around in waiting rooms, as well as when getting treatments that can take up to several hours to administer. Playing that game seemed to take her daughters mind off of her cancer better than anything else would.
I have seen a lot of kids at these visits over the years and started to think if there was a way I could help. Then, just yesterday I saw a post on Facebook for someone that was raising money for their own medical bills through gofundme.com. I clicked on the link and noticed that you can raise money for anything on that site. That's when it hit me: Why couldn't I use gofundme.com to raise money to provide computer tablets to these kids?
So, that's what I'm doing! The money donated will be used to purchase Tablets for children fighting cancer in the Phoenix area. I'm not setting a limit on the amount to be raised. I would like this to be an ongoing project. The more money I raise, the more kids I can help. My hope is that this will become larger and I'm able to expand this project to other areas.
If you prefer to purchase and donate a new tablet directly you are welcome to do so. Please, no used ones. I want to make sure each child gets a new one covered under a warranty from the manufacturer. Feel free to contact me directly for information on how to purchase and donate one though this website.
As you can see in my picture I have a great life and a wonderful family. This is an opportunity for me to give something back.
