We woke up Tuesday, July 17th, to our one year old Great Dane, Molly, barely standing, hunched back, ears down, head hung low, and frothy drool hanging from her mouth. She slowly looked up at us with droopy eyes, as if to say, "Please help. I'm in trouble."
We rushed her to the Vet in LaCrosse WI, where Dr. Gary found her to have severe pneumonia and in septic shock. He got her stable enough for us to transport her to Madison with Oxygen and IV fluids, so she could get the intensive care she required.
Since then, Molly has been down a rocky road, and has beaten the odds. She is one tough girl! However, this has come at a cost. At this time, the amazing care she has received already has added up to over $11,000, and if her recovery goes well will likely total around $14,000 before she can come home.
Molly is only one year old, and has a lot of life left to live. Any financial support you are able to offer will help ensure she can come home and play again.
