Sisters Fight Against Tumor/ Lupus

Hi everybody! My Name is Adriana, and I am creating this go fund me on my sister, Doris’s behalf. Doris is the most caring, compassionate, giving, selfless, empathetic and incredible person I have ever known. For the people who know my sister, know she is the most hardworking and thoughtful person there is. She would do anything for anyone in need for nothing in return; just for the simple benefit of knowing she helped someone. She has been battling with Lupus for over 5 years now and after being in excruciating pain for over 2 months in her leg, in addition to the pains from lupus, doctors have finally recently found a 9.3 cm fast growing cancerous tumor that’s in the tissues of her tibial nerve in her leg. She is going to be needing surgery and extensive treatment afterwards as well as more tests to be run. The tests, treatment, and procedure she needs is unfortunately incredibly expensive. She works as a nurse for a children’s hospital, but unfortunately used all her paid time off for doctors appointments regarding this and now will not be getting paid for her time out. Therefore, she won’t be receiving healthcare insurance Or receive any benefits for the time out she will need for the surgical procedure, treatments, and recovery. There is only so much my family can do to help her out, but it is still not enough to help her pay for her rent, student loans, and most importantly the treatment she needs. It would mean so much to my sister and family, if we could all come together to help raise money for her. She has helped so many people in so many ways, gone to hell and back, fighting all her life, and is still trying to remain positive. I just want something good to come to her for once. It has always been one thing after another regarding her health. So please, even if it’s a penny, we would be so grateful for your donation!
