Robotics Team: The Fun Gang

We are FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) Team #7869, The Fun Gang. We were hoping that you might be interested in donating to our brand new robotics team for our 2018-2019 season! Throughout the year, we design, build, program and compete with robots designed to complete a variety of tasks ranging from simple to complex. This year's theme is "Deep Space". AF Amistad High School is a public charter school dedicated to preparing its students for college. It has the joy of boasting that each year 100% of its seniors being accepted into college. A majority of our students are black, Latino, and socioeconomically disadvantaged.
Your donations would help us immensely. Donations can take many forms: access to machinery that we would otherwise be unable to afford or use (e.g. plasma cutters and digital mills), donation of materials or services, mentorship and monetary donations, which allows you to make needed contributions to our team. We would be very happy to come out and do a presentation on FIRST, FRC and our robot for you and your company! We have a Powerpoint presentation on our team and the FIRST program.
